UN Redefining Islamic Shari'ah
battle against Shariah-based personal laws in Muslim countries is being fought from the
platform of the United Nations (UN) under
the banner of "Universal Declaration of Human Rights." Now the UN wants all countries of the world
to allow gay and lesbian marriages. A

UN campaign to force the Muslim countries to take back the reservations to many

December 1997 President Clinton announced that he had put the promotion of
women's rights in the mainstream of American foreign policy. At the same time,
speaking at the United Nations Economic and Social Council Chamber, Mrs.
Clinton took the first steps in challenging the Shariah by saying: "And in too many
places today what we fail to see are the injustices done to women,"
she said without naming Islam, but with obvious reference. "In too
many places female heirs are seeing less inheritance than male heirs.
Inequitable divorce laws compel women to remain in cruel marriages. And courts
of law require the testimony of two women to equal that of a solitary man." So the laws of inheritance, marriage,
divorce, and testimony of a Muslim country are now to be dictated by the
Make no mistake about it. The First Lady was serious. The "rights" she was talking about were based on ethical laws that were "higher than the laws of even kings." Not only that. "The principles inscribed in the document whose birth we mark today [The controversial Universal Declaration of Human Rights] are not constructed, but revealed. Every great religion exposed and taught their truth." It may be quite revealing to note that her "revealed principles" include the rights of homosexuals to continue their abominable practices, as she mentioned in the same speech.
Ladies do come with lecturing rights. After the glorious failure of her
domestic health reform, the First Lady has taken up the safer cause of women
and families in the world. And she is not alone. On a clear day one can see an

In these homes child abuse, parent abuse, and spouse abuse are common. The single largest cause of injuries to American women is beatings by husbands and boy friends. The home, as the Surgeon general report indicated some time ago, has become the most dangerous place for the American women. Outside, there is a pandemic of sexual harassment. No place, from the lowest to the highest office in the country seems to be immune from it. As all of us know, President Clinton himself was involved in the Lewinsky case.
Perhaps the greatest irony of this century is that a civilization that has put a nude or semi-nude picture of a woman on every square inch of available space, is giving lectures on the status of women to the civilization that treats them with dignity and respect. The greatest tragedy at the end of this century may be that the civilization that has totally messed up and destroyed the family life is now getting ready to dictate to the civilization that still has family life intact, on how to arrange its family affairs.
The contrast between the two could not have been starker. One gives the wife the right to be financially supported by her husband. The other takes away that right. One establishes a home with distinct roles for father, mother, and children. The other calls those roles a relic of the past and destroys the home along with them. One promotes modesty (haya), the other kills it. One promises peace and tranquility in this life and success in the hereafter. The other promises fun here but delivers nothing but misery here and the prospect of greater misery in the hereafter.
should Muslims be forced to listen to the dictatesof such a Satan as the
Muslim countries have brought this mess upon themselves by failing to stand up
and speak out. While opposition to the 1994 Cairo Conference, where the agenda
for this phase of the UN plan was first revealed, was strong among the Muslim
masses, practical steps to check this agenda were not taken. While
Muslims must make up their mind whether they will follow the revealed truth of the Islamic Shariah or the "revealed principles" of the so-called "shariah" of rebellion against Allah, that are being imposed upon them. If their governments do not do it, then private organizations must take up the battle, before it becomes too late.
“O you who believe! Fasting is prescribed for you as it was prescribed for those before you, so that you may develop taqwa (become pious)." [Al-Baqarah, 2:183]
This verse makes two statements. First, fasting is for everyone. Second, the purpose of fasting is to develop taqwa. It is thus obvious that taqwa is for everyone! In other words, taqwa (God-consciousness, fear of Allah, righteousness) is not required just of a select group of religious people who would then be called muttaqeen (possessors of taqwa). Rather, every believer has to become a muttaqi for the success in the hereafter is only for the muttaqeen.
A Hindu may say that certain injunctions of his religion (for example not eating meat) do not apply to him because he is not a Brahmin. So can a Buddhist or a Christian. As Britannica notes, Hinduism, Buddhism, and Christianity (especially the Roman Catholic and Eastern Orthodox branches), among others, stress, "separation, even polarization, between the life of the person who has a sacred vocation and that of the ordinary man." Not Islam. Islam eliminates that polarization. A Muslim cannot say "I don't have to do this or that because I am just an ordinary Muslim. I am not a muttaqi." The point is emphasized heavily in the Qur'an, where the word taqwa and its variations have been used more than 150 times. It commands:
"O ye who believe! Have taqwa (fear of Allah) and let every person look to what he has sent forth for the morrow." [Al-Hashr, 59:18].
It asks us to choose between taqwa and its absence by presenting a very moving example:
"Which then is better? He that lays his foundation on the taqwa of Allah and His Pleasure? Or he that lays his foundation on an undermined sand-cliff ready to crumble to pieces? So that it crumble to pieces with him, into the fire of Hell." [At-Taubah 9:109].
It reminds us that the eternal bliss is only for the muttaqeen:
quick in the race for forgiveness from your Lord and for
Of course in every race some people get ahead while others lag behind. So with the race for taqwa. Obviously some people will develop more taqwa than others. Although taqwa is a state of the heart [Al-Hajj, ], and we cannot judge the taqwa of people, but many aspects of taqwa have a reflection in our behaviour. So it is natural and normal for us to recognize the differences in achievement of those in the race. But those of us lagging behind cannot pretend that we are not in the race at all. For there is no other race! We are all in it together. The rich and the poor, the educated and the un-educated, the leader and the follower, the writer and the reader, the preacher and the listener, the ruler and the ruled, the old and the young, the man and the woman, all must develop taqwa. The most honoured, in the sight of Allah, is the believer with the most taqwa [Al-Hujuraat, 49:13]. The Islamic society is a taqwa-conscious society, conferring its highest respects on those considered to be highest in taqwa. Without it, the best achievements in other areas of life mean nothing.
While all this is obvious in principle, in practice many of us seem to have accepted the idea that muttaqeen are a separate class of people, different from the rest of us, the ordinary Muslims. This has been a very devastating import from Christianity and Hinduism. While Islamic Shariah has been one integral entity, this devious mechanism has allowed us to develop our own individual Shariahs by picking and choosing from the Shariah what we might think is appropriate for the "ordinary Muslim." Such reasoning provides a ready-made justification for our sins, shortcomings, and weaknesses. After all, we have to admit that the directly opposite side of taqwa is sin.
The Enemies of Islam started the Electronic War against the Islamic websites, and they started with www.IslamWay.com, the Largest Islamic Audio Library on the Internet. An anti-Islamic person who calls himself CESET deceived the Domain Names Company, NetworkSolutions.com, as he contacted them pretending to be one of IslamWay Team Worker. And then he changed all the contact information of our Team Work Manager, AbdulAziz Muhammad. He changed the server which is hosting the site and he changed the contents of the site to anti-Islamic contents. We contacted our Server Administrator and he replied: "I've been working on this long before you discovered it. I noticed this attempt to modify the registration 2 days ago and contacted Network Solutions, they did absolutely nothing. I contacted them again and faxed the authorisation to restore the original domain information, but I will check with them tomorrow. I've also contacted the hosting company that is hosting that page and will ask them to stop that account. I've also contacted the FBI to make a report as well. Please ask AbdulAziz to call network solutions also. Unfortunately this whole process will take 24-48 hours. The most fortune thing is that they did not penetrate our network and servers."
Anyone who subsequently accessed www.IslamWay.com found a rude message written by this Hacker: "Peaches will be out of the web". The graphics in the Main Page of www.IslamWay.com was hosted in a Sex Website that promotes pornography. Question: Will this hacker change other Islamic websites to pornography websites? And is this a starting point of an Electronic War against everything Islamic? Brothers and Sisters! Beware of the Internet and its information about Islam. May Allah protect us.
